Thrown

like lead
excalibur
sinks to the lake bottom
our king dead the silver lining
his myth

First Class

yoga
peels me by layers
muscle by each muscle

soften

Rest

Simply
placing a chair
right here beside my desk
means that I can break from my work

Anniversary

three years
and who’d have thought
that two loners as strange
would ever in a million find
themselves

Carved

A statue.
A boy. An ox.
Simply formed. Clean lines.
The ox ridden depicts a life
controlled.

Debate

and when your turn is done
shout more, because God damn it you
are right!
